![]() I'm using MicroStudio 6.11 and copied CD+Gs to a folder, I then played each song and out of 16 only 4 would play with the graphics. Most would show the song title and key but that was it. It's a new Plextor drive and the software is up to date as far as I know. I don't have any idea of where to start looking for the problem. The origional CDs play just fine on the karaoke machine. Thanks

What version of DIRECTX are you running?
To check this, click START, RUN, and in the dialog box type in DXDIAG, then click OK. Near the bottom of the first page that opens it will tell you the DIRECTX version number you have installed. If it is not at least 9.0, then go to the Microsoft website and downoad and install the latest version they have. I believe it's 9.0c or 9.1. See if that corrects the problem. Good...Let's try reducing your hardware accellerator.
Click START, RUN, and open DXDIAG again. Click on the SOUND1 tab. In the DirectX features block there's a HARDWARE SOUND ACCELLERATOR LEVEL slider. Left click on the slider, and holding down on the mouse button, move it all the way to the left. Close out, open Microstudio, and see if that gets it. If it does, and you notice any adverse results in any other audio players , you can always sneak the slider a notch or two back to the right, but I doubt you'll need to. George |

Can't copy graphics
George you're a genius. I'm listening and watching my first home made karaoke copy. The accellerator did the trick.
I have a show with folks with Downs Syndrome, M.D. and other handicaps and needed to make some CDs and was begining to get worried but you, my friend, saved the day...Thank you! Jerry ![]() |
