Crashing again when loading customers disc

Last night during my show a customer gave me his disc (Sweet Georga Brown) to load while another singer was singing. As the disc was loading the audio started skipping on the current singer, I had to hit the cancel button to stop the load and also had to reset the current singers song because the words and audio didn't jive together.

Did this happen the FIRST time you tried to load a Song from a Singer's Disc?

Because, if it is, you may want to try to READ a CDG Trk into the Playlist before your Show starts, and see if all subsequent Songs, from Singer's Discs, load OK.

I know it is not a fix, but it may be a way to resolve the problem, for now.
