They are usually pretty fast. apparently being so close to the weekend and MTU being on east coast time, has slowed things up.

Also make sure you don't have any SPAM filters turned on that might block them.

Sam.

Smile reply re: download

thank you.............. we're working on it yet for today. Susie at the www.singclean.com distributer for mtu, is trying to get ahold of Doug Cox... I can't ask more than that, even tho I'm disapointed and an impatient person by nature. Thanks for getting back to me. DeAnna (ljbabe54)

Things change...

MTU as of last Friday has a new eCommerce store, and a new way to get your download links and Registration Code/Email to install with.

Change is progress...

For years our ordering process sent an email with your download link and Registration Code and Registration Email. Many users (AOL especially) never received their email and thus required MTU staff to help. This was expensive for our customers and our staff.

Our new store and registration changed in the following ways:

The order you received (example below) now includes a https (secure) link to sign into your account to see your order details. It no longer includes your download link or Registration Codes or Emails to protect your purchase.

******EXAMPLE NEW STORE ORDER EMAIL YOU SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED******

MTU Karaoke Store
------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for your order! Open your order on our website to get the download registration Codes.

Order Number: 40422
Detailed Invoice: Link changed: order_id=40422
Date Ordered: Friday 26 August, 2005

*****SNIP ORDER HERE*****

We are now changing the "Open your order on our website..." instructions to read:

*************
"Thank you for your order!

Click the 'Detailed Invoice' link below to access your Account at the MTU store.

In your Account, click the Order to see the link for each software product to download the installation program to save on you computer hard drive.

You will also find your Registration Code and Registration Email for each product. These are required when you install the individual software products."
*************

This should give clearer instructions.

Now, as to your specific question, you need to find the Order email sent to you, or click this link http://www.mtu.com/catalog/index.php to log into the MTU Store into your account.

If you don't know your password, you can enter your email and click the link to have it sent to you. In your "My Account", you will find a link to your orders. Click one to see the link to download the software installation program for that product. You should print this page as it has your Registration Code and Registration Email you need to install that program.

lWhen you click the link to download an installation program, you should save it to your hard drive. REMEMBER... where you save it. I personally have a Download folder with sub-folders for each company I download products from, such as MTU, ZoneAlarm, WinZip, etc. That way I always know where they are.

Backup your downloaded installation programs to a CDROM to be sure you have a hard copy if your computer hard drive crashes. Also, save the printout of the Registration Code and Email, or copy/paste them into a .txt file (use Notepad) and save that in the Download/MTU directory and to the CDROM also.

I hoep this explains the changes. This now provides you with an absolute way to get your download links and Registration Code/Email for each purchased product. We retain this data for 12-months before it is no longer available. We will offer a charge to continue storing your data on our web site in the near future, but for now it is there for 12 months from your purchase date.

Let us know if you have any other problems or questions. We are sorry that our information how to download and register has not quite caught up with our changed web site. Please forgive us as we strive to improve our services to you.

Exclamation Still get Error 7

I've tried the links contained within the email. I also ordered the CD
which also gives me the exact same "Error 7, Contact MTU".

The file sizes for the four downloaded installation programs are
the same size as it's corresponding on CD installation programs.

Running the installations from the download or the CD both give
me the exact same "Error 7, Contact MTU".

Please re-set my account.
