Smile Problem went away!

I removed my Wireless-G by Linksys safely while my computer was still on and the error went away! There definitely seems to be a connection here!
I had wiped my hard drive clean and did a fesh install of windows xp pro and then installed Hoster 3110, However I do not remember if the wireless eithernet card was in at the time I installed Hoster, I believe it was because I had done all the windows updates. but clearly, I clicked on the hoster shortcut and got the error, removed the wireless card WITHOUT shuting off the pc or rebooting then clicked on the Hoster Icon and it worked fine!
Hope this helps.

Ernie

Serial Number Doesn't Match

After Opening satisfactorily on 6/7 occassions

Wed Hoster failed to load again - once again uninstalled all hoster progs except databases - could not re-instal (internet access unavailable and no floppy drive)

Sat. (wireless hotspot connection to internet) re-installed Hoster v3.110 using internet but flag again displayed - rebooted and program opened - closed programme and tried again - opened. Returned home (no internet) tried to open and again flag displayed on every attempt.

Sun. (at same wireless hotspot as yesterday) Hoster opens satisfactorily - twice - will I be when I get to my gig?

If it does I will have to seriously think about ditching Hoster

I too have had this problem. But mine dated back to 3.08. I can't remember if it happened before that. I am using a brand new Gateway laptop with AMD 64 processor. VERY FAST computer. I tried both way, storing KMA's on an external drive and storing them on the local hard drive and it doesn't matter which way i do it, I still get the serial number error from time to time. Usually, I can do a reboot and it cures it, but sometimes it doesn't. It happened at a show the other night and i almost had a fit. Luckily a reboot helped and it started right up. But what happens if one night that doesn't work???? I hope this gets fixed soon.
