BookID Problem and Zip Files

I am trying to import Chartbuster CDG5013 greatest Songs of the Fifties(zip files). There are 3 Disc:
CB5013-01
CB5013-02
CB5013-03

When I import the first disc It shows up as disc ID CB5013 when it should be cb5013-01. I cannot manually change it because the disc id is grayed out. If I import it this way then when I do the second and third disc they over ride the previous import because it keeps using the wrong disc id. It uses CB5013 every time.

I know the correct disc Id numbers are in the database becuase when I call up the import screen and the selection area is still empty, I find Chartbusetr Pro500 in the drop down list and the correct disc ID's listed.

Try using this Define filename field-separator order:

DiscID-Ignore and then the rest of the filename fields. Be sure to use the "-" for the separator following DiscID.

The Ignore will not recognize the -01, -02, -03 as the track number, but should allow it to be used within the DiscID.

Let us know if this works.

BookID Problem and Zip Files

I could not get this to work. Maybe I am doing it wrong. When I bring up the template sceen I go to field#1 and change it to ignore.
The templete is now:
ignore - track - artist - title

I then get the define source fileds message:
You must select DiscID and Track#

My songs are listed
Folder name CB5013-01

songs are listed as:
CB5018-02-01 - Rogers, Ginger - We're In The Money (The Gold Diggers Song)
CB5018-02-02 - Carey, Harry - Take Me Out To The Ballgame
CB5018-02-03 - James, Harry & His Orchestra - You Made Me Love You
etc.

Forgive me. I was testing on Hoster 3.110 Beta 3+.

In that version you can change the Brand and DiscID in SINGLE import mode (not BATCH import mode). So, I was able to use:

DiscID-Ignore-Track - Artist - Title.cdg

and then go back and select Chartbusters Pro CB5000 and CB5018-01, then CB5018-02, then CB5018-03 and import them as KMA files.

We are targeting to have 3.110 released within 2 weeks.

Zip Files Will Not Import

I also cannot get Chartbuster Essential 450 Volume 1 to import. The folder is named:
Essential 450

Inside that folder is a Volume 1 folder. Inside that is 30 folders labeled:
CBE01 THRU CBE30. Each folder contains 15 songs in this format:
Cbe01-01 - Williams, Hank - Lovesick Blues
Cbe01-02 - King, Pee Wee - Tennessee Waltz, The

When I import the first folder using the format DISCID-TRACK-ARTIST-TITLE, the songs show up as they should but the Brand does not show up. If I manually select the manufacturer then the discid gets greyed out. Also the discid number should show up as CBE1-01 but it shows up as CBE01

Because of the problem you brought to light of Producers using something like CBE01-23 for a DiscID number, we are adding a new selection '&This' in the list boxes. This will allow defining, for example, 'DiscID-&This' to get CBE01-23.

Right now, all you can do is accept the CBE01, which I realize is not right. I suggest you hold off importing these Chartbuster discs until we release 3.110.

We are hoping to get Hoster 3.110 Beta 4 out this week, and release Hoster 3.110 next week.

The reason CBE01 appears is only the "CBE01" part of the filename is picked up as the DiscID. We are logically getting what is in your filenames. You may want to change them to CBE1 before importing so they will find the Brand when searched for.
