new drive

My current version of Microstudio (v2.40) detects my new Plextor DVD/CD drive (PX-716UF), but does not recognize it as a reading or writing drive. Also it is detected as not supporting katraoke, but the user manual states it supports CD-TEXT, CD+G reading and writing. Is an updated driver available?
Thanks

Re: new drive

If the drive is external, make sure it is connected and on before turning on your computer. MicroStudio has to ID it too.

Re: new drive

This drive is not yet support even in Microstudio 2.609, so there is no way that old version could Say Yes for Karaoke. Whatever the next version of Microstudio is, should be out sometime in February will support this new drive.

Other than that, it will not work yet.
