Ver 2.7b 111 file read error

Upgraded to Microeditor 2.7b in 1999 and checked all my old files would read play ok..no problem. I recently try to modify some of the old mix files and found that after I saved them any attempt to reload would result in "Microsoft DLL error: 111 file read error". Tried SAVE AS under new name, tried reloading the oroginal files from tape and saving with out any new edits...same result. I'm running Win 3.1 on the original computer that I first installed Microeditor on in 1995. Only changes to the system have been a new Microeditor board and the 2.7b that came with it.

Any ideas ?
