Wait for our next Microstudio release
We have to upgrade our software to support new drives. We are internally working on the new 24x, but we have a bit more to do before we release Microstudio 2.400 for full use, and then we have to create the demo. The 24x drive is not on our supported drive list, but it will be by the end of December, possibly the middle.
BTW: The 16x are not out of production. We receive lots of them every week.
