Re: 3.005 Problem. Search Closes Hoster Everytime

Dlessnau,
This means that something is wrong with either your Songs.mdb or your BUcket.mdb.

To fix this, do the following:

1) Open My Computer. Go to the C:\ drive. It might show Local Disk C:\. Double click on this.

2) Double click on Program Files

3) Double click on Micro Technology Unlimited

4) Double click on Hoster. Double click on Databases

5) You should now see a bucket.mdb file and a songs.mdb file. Delete these 2 files.

6) Now run the Hoster 3.005 installation again. Selecting Upgrade. It should now replace your bucket.mdb file to be on the safe side.

7) Now try opening Hoster. If your songs don't show up, DON'T panic. Click the Tools Menu\Build Songs Database. Now make sure the Source Folder at the top is set to the location of your .kma files. If not then click the Select Folder button and set it to the location of your .kma files.

8) Click the Build Songs Database button at the bottom. It should now build your database, and all yours songs should be back with no errors when trying to use search.
