Re: testing the demo; files less than 90 seconds

You're right George. Since the Hoster DEMO failed to download a song less than ninety seconds and maybe we assume that it can't, the next logical step, is to create a song that is perfectly 90 seconds. (or close without going under)

If I go under then, I guess, Hoster DEMO will not download it.

If I go over at all, any cutting short of the song could just be attributable to the 90 second limit and may not show conclusively if the cutting short is a result of how the program plays a file, or if it's just the DEMO doing its thing. (So I guess I need to go over ninety, but only by a very small amount)

I have considered what you are suggesting and may very well do it. I might be able to satisfy myself on the issue. I just have to add some time on to the front of the song I have already made. Obviously the song that I have already made has the music cut short when played by microstudio. (I believe that Microstudio cuts all songs 2 to 4 seconds short; it's just whether the cutting short intrudes into the music or not. (That's when it becomes unacceptable)

Someone may yet tell me that the Hoster DEMO will download a song that is less than ninety seconds; I have to do X,Y, AND Z etc..

If not I will probably go for it. It just seems weird that a program DEMO for a player, doesn't show how it plays. To an extent, of course, it does. But given Microstudio's proclivities to cut short and the fact that Microstudio's player, we were told, is based on Hoster....well, fill in the blanks.

Anyway, good luck all.
