Data type conversion error 3421 importing

you really shouldnt use any old laptop sitting around the house to do karaoke shows. this is the problem with some people here.



i have only had one problem with hoster since i bought it back in 2002 (drop outs). the reason is i built a desktop for hoster only. no other programs are on it, except microsoft word & pcdjfx. i keep it up to date with microsoft and ATI (video Drivers) thus i have little to no problems.


you probably cant imagine how much spyware is on your laptop. this kind of stuff slows your laptop down and can cause problems.

LOL! This isn't some "old laptop"... it was nearly brand new when I first started using it for hosting, and works tremendously well... until this import problem. I've imported 3000 songs, and hosted hundreds of shows with it.

Computer software is my "normal" business, so I have current A/V software, run ad-aware, spybot, and MANY other utilities to keep it clean. I have to run several large accounting systems on it regularly, so it's stable, I assure you.

However, these are not loaded, and do not affect running hoster, I can also assure you, since all my hoster files are on a separate drive, except the program file itself, and hoster has run flawlessly on it for a year now.

I'm about 99% sure this is simply an import problem with a data type mismatch error or something similar. I have a gut feeling that it's a field that's supposed to be numeric and is text or vise-versa.
