Re: Hard Drive Directory of MP3+ CDG

Not using Mp3+g files, you could follow the patterning I use on my mp3's (tho still time consuming.

I have a directory named artists.
under this directory I have folders named for the artists ie:
Alabama
Blood Sweat and Tears
and so on

in each of the folder I put the songs by that artist and they are named by the song title.

that would be easy for a program to pick up and set up a structure for.

Talking Re: Hard Drive Directory of MP3+ CDG

It would be very nice to have the same feature that is available in the Real Player, ie there is an advanced command which will read the Tag in the mp3 file, then Real Player will create subdirectories as is necessary. With my mp3 files, I have them organized by Artist, then by Album. It does this in a batch mode.

With 12,000+ cuts of karaoke music, I will not live long enough to add them individually into directories and subdirectories.

Also in Musicmatch, one is able to correctly tag cuts vis-a-vis their look up db. I would think this feature would be a good one also.
