Question Reloading Hard Drive

Thanks To Nitecat & Bryan @ MTU for your help on External Hard Drive.

I now have a new problem. I need to download service pack 2 on my
computer when I do my Computer crashes. Microsoft tells me that I
need to clear my hard drive and start over.I haven't reloaded my
Micro & Hoister yet. How do I save my files that I already have. And
do I save them To a new External Drive That I'm going to purchase?

Re: Reloading Hard Drive

We suggests you write the downloaded files to a CDROM disc.

If you can't do that, then yes, save them to a folder on your external drive that will not be reformated.

Does this statement also apply in the case of a stolen Windows XP code?

Many XP users including myself have installed SP2 with no adverse reactions to Hoster and Microstudio...just a tad confusing.

Make sure that you Print your Emails, before you Reformat your computer also, this is how you get any updates.
