Re: Major 2.219 problem

I am waiting for some sort of advice from MTU on my problem and what to do to fix it. Has any change been made to the lastest download since it came out, so I can try again?

I won't reinstall until I find out if what has caused my problem is fixed.

Re: Major 2.219 problem

Dave,
There is nothing that I am aware of that would cause Hoster to crash as you have stated.

The only thing that I know of that can do this, is that if you have your Selected Folder, on the Import Tracks Tab, set to a CD drive or if it is set to a External USB drive, that no longer is connected to the system. These are the only two things that I know will crash it, and this will only crash when you try to add a song to a Playlist, because the playlist is trying to be created and it can't.

There have been no changes or updates to Hoster 2.219, there doesn't seem to be any other clients having problems. You might try running all of the Windows Updates, including updating to SP2, and see what happens then.

Re: Major 2.219 problem

well guys been using the new version since it came out and apart from song book error which I fixed it has been working perfectly and I am using 5 nights a week so some there must be some sort of other software that may be causing your problem

Re: Major 2.219 problem

OK. I am going to update my computer as suggested by getting all the windows updates, and download the Hoster update and try it again. I will also check to see if I have something set wrong in the import tracks area. Shouldn't be though, as I just imported songs to the data base like I usually do, and I never import to anyplace else, but I'll look.

At least I know, if I have a problem at the show, I can always do back to where it is right now.

Looks like Mike Dombroski is replying to a different thread on this thread???

Thanks
