Re: Slow Sweep Still Not Fixed

Went to Mfg's site and downloaded chipset driver, and video driver updates.
Also spent quite a bit of time online w/Toshiba Support. They cannot figure out problem. After updates no change in status.

I have been holding off downloading windows SP2 due to many problems associated with it. I do see however that my windows update did download about 6 files about 3 days after the problem started that say SP2 on them. I'm not sure if I has anything to do with the problem.

Short of doing a complete restore it appears there are no other fixes available.

I have narrowed the workaround down to the sound acceleration setting in directx. No matter what the setting says after I boot up the sweep is not in sync. All I have to do is go in and move the aceleration setting to any other setting and Hoster sweeps perfectly. If I reboot for whatever reason it will not hold settings. I have found that the directdraw disable does not make any changes to the sweep.

I have a new portable pc coming from you folks today so I will be able to do a complete restore on the laptop without interrupting my show schedule.
