Bryan,
Thanks for the beta version of 2215 to check out. All of the phm's that I've tested so far and also some of the other brands that was experiencing audio drops have all checked out ok. So far all looks good. Thanks.

Just got home. Won't be able to test until tomorrow now, but will give you an update then. Please leave the download link available until tomorrow night, if you could.

'Tis music to our ears...

So far everyone reporting indicates we nailed the problem.

You were made "temporary Beta Testers" since you experienced this problem. Be aware that we are waiting for each of you to post here that you give it your blessing. We need to know that we have fixed your problem before we release.

We would be interested to know if you are running with the Preveiw Display (small karaoke display that appears at the upper left) enabled or disabled?. It can now be moved, resized, and disabled/enabaled in the Tools menu Disable Preview Display command.

Please post that 2.215 is a GO or NO-GO for you.

Re: Problems with newer PHM's/2.209

Hello Admin,

Why in the world did you fellows make the KJ's Display window a separate window? I would suggest you re-attach that little bugger to the main form again. Sometimes during a show I have to move stuff around and I really don't want to have to keep chasing yet another window. I do like the idea of being able to hide or show it though. Maybe you could set it up so it can be docked/undocked from the main form and moved around.

Best,

Roger

Best, Roger
Roger, there is a problem with Windows and Tab structure like we use in Hoster. When we disable this window, because it is BELOW the MENU BAR, the window will NOT DISABLE until you start PLAYING!

Also, we have already had very positive feedback from some users with, shall we say, vision imparement. They love the ability to resize the window and move it elsewhere.

If I hear you correctly, you move Hoster around during your show, so the Preview Display window is not following Hoster. Try this:
1. Move Hoster where you what it.
2. Close Hoster
3. Reopen Hoster
4. The Preview Display window will be where it always has been.

We will be stripping the Tab structure from Hoster in version 3.0. However, for now we needed to allow the Disable Preview Display to work. Making it a floating window is the only way we can solve the problem with Tabs, without extensive research (we already spent over 8 hours trying to overcome the Microsoft limitation).

We could move the Add Tracks group of controls to the left, and shift the Preview Display window and Show Time field to the right. This also would overcome the problem... and cost me a LOT of time recapturing and processing images, the redoing the manual.
