Error on playback

I have a new problem. I originally had been using an external hard drive via USB. I now loaded my kma files onto the C: drive so I don't have to lug around the external drive. However, when I unplug the external "E" drive, and try to access the directory on C: to play a song, Hoster closes down and wants to send Microsoft the error message.

Any suggestions?

It still works using the external drive.

Re: Error on playback

When you moved your kma files, did you rebuild your song database to reflect the new location of your kma files? You need to remove the songs.mdb file and rebuild the database. The manual will tell you how to do it.

Re: Error on playback

Thanks.

I had to use the external drive as the source and the c drive as the destination when building the new songs database. Then I had to build it again with c as the source and c as the destination, and it finally worked.
