gduns,
I had my pagefile set at 512MB. I read in the manual, I believe, that it should be set to TWICE the amount of RAM, of which I have 1024MB. That's why it was set there. I have played with that setting, and it doesn't change the effect. My CPU usage goes up to between 40-50%. I think S. Parks said his was going upwards of 96%. What screen do I look at to tell what is sucking up the resources? I was looking at the % meter under task manager for that info. Mike, What I am having is audio drops. I am not getting the sound of a pick running over a microphone. These drops are not on the CGD's. Those play fine. The audio drops, at times, are significant enough to throw off the timing of the video. So, the video swipes will tend to be ahead of the audio. Maybe referring to an audio "drop" is not the way it should be put, even though that's a result of what's happening. It's more of an audio "pause", and then it picks up where it left off. We tried again at our gig last night, and the most blatant spot where it happens is where the video for the intro screen fades in. That seems to be taking the resources, and the audio doesn't get the resources it needs to keep playing. I've never had an issue with any Sound Choice or DK, CB, etc. The video fading is what's causing it. Maybe I have a setting turned on, that should be turned off, or vice versa. But, I've been through the manual half a dozen times, and checked to make sure everything that was suggested was done. Not saying I haven't missed anything, but if I did, I wish I knew what it was. It's probably the same thing that is happening to a couple of other people as well. Thanks all for your effort is trying to debug this. I don't know what else to do on my end, except watch the boards and keep trying what people are saying. Believe me, if I find it, there will be one big WOOT!!!! shouted on this board.
