Audio glitches during playback

I seriously don't think a gig will help. I am running this on a laptop with 512 just fine. I hase never , ever heard poping...... period. could you have a power supply (line) problem. Maybe like a compressor or ac comming on and off?

I don't see problems like this, because I have a ups on all my systems, but even with a ups if it was kicking on and off you would hear pops.
