Thus far, the reasons being given for retaining the "Search For By Brand" function can all be handled by viewing the songs.mdb file using Microsoft Access.
It may not be quite as convienient in some cases, (espceially if you dont happen to have Mocrosoft Access), but it is otherwise do-able. Perhaps it's need could be further reduced by creating a function in the song-book generator that would list the disks by brand>diskid>track/artist or other criteria?
