I'm reticent to take the responsibility for you getting messed up. I don't know what most of those are either, but many of them do look like programs that could be turned off for start up purposes.
Three that I'd leave alone would be SCAN REGISTRY, TASK MONITOR, and CRITICAL UPDATE.
It may also be possible that it is not necessarily the volume of things open as it is a particular program causing a conflict.
If you went in and unchecked them one at a time, keeping notes as you went, you could always go back in and re-check one if it caused any difficulties.
