Upgrading advantages?

Hello,
Are there any real advantages to upgrading Microstudio.
I currently run 2400 with a 48x Plextor and it does what I want it to.
A lot of upgrades only seem to recogonize new writers and fix odd bugs that haven't affected me.
Any thoughts from those running the latest version?
Regards from across the pond
Garry

Gary,

Here's a link to te Microstudio Products History page which gives an overview of all the upgrades. Perhaps this may help you make an informed decision as to whether upgrading is for you or not.

My experience

Garry,

I was very pleased with my 2.4 version and I upgraded to the latest.
Now am I as pleased? to be honnest NO! Why? I missed the low resolution graphic.
The new version consumes less power for the CPU but this high resolution graphic is not the way it should be in my opinion. The graphic you will find on a cdg is low resoltion so why go high resolution?

If you are using the 8 bit mode you should stay with you version.

Regards

Upgrading

Hello,
George,
I had already checked the version site, but checked again.
I don't think there is anything to upgrade for and
mlepine
seems to agree
I'm a sucker for the latest version of anything. and often buy stuff I could just as well do without.
Thanks to both of you for your help
Regards from across the pond
Garry
