KHPro 2.0 Release Date 6/30/01?

Hello MTU...!
I have been checking your site everyday for the past week, waiting for the 2.0 upgrade. I hope to download it soon. How soon will that be?
PS. I sent two discs - one that plays all the time and one that doesn't, no matter if the impose switch is on or off. What did you find out?

Thank you for everything,
Corbin

Always watch our MTU Developments (aka news) page on our site. That is my announcement page. We had a minor setback in 2.0 when we hit beta testing. Showed up a few problems we need to solve. Current target date is 7/16/01, but that depends on many things. No hard date at present, but we are testing.

First, thank you for sending the discs. These will help us try to diagnose playing KHP songs on a JVC player with transparency enabled. However, we don't have a JVC so we can't duplicate the problem We will address the transparency issue in V2.0 to make sure we don't have it enabled. If it goes deeper than that, we will have to ignore it for now. Modifing the core code of KHP would add at least a 4-6 week delay, not including the coding time. We can't justify this right now for our worldwide market.

Expected 16th July 2001

It was never a definate release date, so mabye they have to iron out a few wrinkles. But I am sure the product will be worth its weight in gold.

Wait a minute code does not weigh anything.

Smile Excellence takes time

Be patient everyone. I'm sure that admin wants the 2.0 to work just right for everyone, with as few problems as possible.

Most likely will be on the 23rd, along with Vogone 2.

Cool Website updated

I have just updated all the website pages related to KHP 2.0 and Vogone 2.0. Things are progressing well, but slowly.

Vogone 2 appears to be delivering what we expected from several users who understand how to use it. However, there are a significant number that didn't understand or get what they were expecting. Thus, I have re-written the manual over the weekend with graphic images and clear steps to follow. We'll see if that solves the problems.

Click here if you want to see the Vogone 2 upgades.

If we release before it is made easy to use, we will be buried by customer support questions that we can't afford for a $99.95 product.

A word about Vocal Eliminators - The world calls them this. To get positioned in the Internet Search Engines, so do we. However, if you have used any, you know they are really vocal reducers. The echoes from reverb effects will not be removed, so there is always a low amplitude "echo" left behind. This has always been, and in the forseeable future... will still be.

Also, the more vocal frequencies you remove, the worse you damage the music you want to leave behind. It's a catch-22 tradeoff. One of the advantages of Vogone 2 is that it empowers you to make that tradeoff in realtime while you are listening. So, you can dial out more vocal, and more instuments, or put some vocal back to an acceptable level, and get more of your instruments back.

We will ship no product before its' time.
