Video Problem

Running 2.517 - ripped tracks to hard drive... worked fine. Played them back yesterday from hard drive and worked fine in small and full windows.

Today - title of song comes up - music plays but no words appear.

Weird - especially since it worked great yesterday. I did backup some of these songs to a cd and it worked fine but can't run off computer again???

Thanks

Lightbulb Volume Levels

Have you check to see if any of your volume level were Mute?
you need the wave an the master to be ON not mute.

Also, keep in mind that once you click play in Microstudio you CAN'T click anywhere else with out having the sound to go mute, click back on the window to have the sound back.

regards

When n doubt...

What you describe is NOT normal Microstudio operation. Something on your computer has changed. Windows is good for doing that, but normally it allows you to enjoy your new program a bit longer than this!

1. Turn your computer off (no power for 10+ seconds), then restart it.

2. If that fails, REMOVE Microstudio and REINSTALL it again.

Still not working

I shut off the machine...then re-installed it. When I go to the PLAY TAB and run files from hard drive. I just get the first title screen of the song and the musice but no lyrics.

This was working fine and I haven't changed anything on my machine.

All other functions of Microstudio work fine.

Takman,

I would suggest you do a system restore to your last working configuration. After the restore, make sure your systems is wirking and then reinstall MicroStudio.

MicroStudio version 2.517 is a rock solid piece of software, as close as being perfect as I have ever seem. Sometimes, however, some files get corrupted during installation. This could happen with any piece of software under Windows.

Good luck

Jon

Question Graphic Acceleration

If you have a Sound Blaster Card, you might want to reduce the acceleration, what you describe is exactly what happen to me before I reduce the acceleration.

I also had that problem after doing a video driver update on my ATI 7000 series, I had to use the previous driver to get running again.

What audio card & video card do you have?

Regards
