The difference is in which type of ATI cards you buy.
You will see two types advertised:
1-POWERED BY ATI.
2-MADE BY ATI.
The "powered" variety are produced by other manufacturers and use some ATI patents. They are cheaper and have been known to generate problems.
The "made" by ATI are just that. They generally cost more, and are of excellent quality. Spend the bucks and buy MADE BY ATI.
MADE BY ATI was recommended for Hoster by MTU when Hoster was in it's initial testing stages. I also have been using the ATI 7500 since the beginning with no problems.
