Not Reconizing Drives

I've just updated to Microstudio 2.508 from 2.314. I've updated my adapdec drivers (solutions #1, #2). I've update my windows xp home with the lastest updates, I've rebooted, I've changed to defaut driver under drivers, I've closed, I've reopened, I've rebooted again, I've changed a few of my hairs to gray (not a mtu problem), still can not reconize my hp serious 9100 cd drive or my samsung cd drive as before.
Help Please.
I've look through all the posts, couldn't find a previous problem.

Thanks, Kenn

Microstudio 2.508 no longer supports that drive. The older drives from HP, Sony and Yamaha will no longer work with Microstudio. This is stated on the page where you click to purchase the upgrade, and tells you not to upgrade if you have one of these drives.

This page is located: http://www.mtu.com/basics/karaoke.htm

Here is what is stated:

NOTE: Older drives from Yamaha, Sony and HP no longer work with Microstudio 2.506 or higher. If you have one of these drives, please stay with your Microstudio 2.400 or prior until we change our CDR burner drivers.
