Jason, read the Microstudio Tech Support Forum things to try. That is the best starting place. Post back here with your results.

It sounds like you have installed some new software that has turned the "Auto-Insert Notification" flag on for your CDR/CDROM drive. Read up on this and make sure you have it disabled (no check in the box).
