Half My Songs Won’t Load On My Backup PC

Roy,

I deleted and installed Microstudio-Karaoke-List.txt with no change in results.

Right now I am in the process of copying the large folder of songs which will take about two hours to copy and two more hours to load into the MTU folder on my back-up laptop.

I plan on deleting and re-installing the Mircostudio program. I already did it once, but will do it again and then see the total results, and post them here.

I did all that I indicated in my last posting, and nothing has changed except it stops at a different place.

I\'ll try one more time to re-do the program and then get back with this thread.

Does this large folder have other subfolders within it ?
If not next time, In Microstudio press the folders button, in the folders list, remove all listed folders, then just add that one main folder your having problems with, after it’s loaded press the Refresh button. Take note again how many songs xxx out of xxxx it shows. if it still fails to list all open the folder containing all the files and find the “Microstudio-Karaoke-List.txt”

Copy it and see if you can attach that file to your next post so that I can read it.

I removed the location c:\\MTU for the songs and then added the large folder, Karaoke Files and the program loaded 1074 of 3712.

I then selected REFRESH and it indicated 3712 of 3712 and then locked up. I repeated the same steps and not much changed.

That is not the file I was asking for, but that’s irrelative now as it seems it has gone through the full amount 3712 files this time.

Why it’s locking up now I don’t know. Sometimes there will be a long pause at the end of the refresh before it moves on. Have you tried rebooting the computer see if it clears anything.

Sorry I didn\'t send the correct file, but I can\'t find any other Microstudio file.txt on either computer. Also when I did the refresh the blue indicator did go through all the songs the it was not a success. So it still does not work.

I appreciate all the help you have given me to help solve this Mircostudio problem, and all my past problems with Hoster.

I think it is time for me to throw in the towel and stop wasting your valuable time. I can still go to my master laptop for all things related to Microstudio, so I really do not need it in the back-up.

My back-up laptop is in case the Hoster program in my main laptop has a problem and I can switch to using the back-up Hoster in my back-up laptop.

Once again, thanks for all your efforts now and in the past, and I am sure in the future. You have always been there for me as well as others on this forum.

Sorry I was unable to help this time
