Re: Paul Initializing book Id slow

No luck Roy. I took out Book ID and Disc Id, shut down Hoster and restarted, same thing no difference what so ever.

I an having a separate issue. When I an in my playlist and playing a song and go to the next song that I want to play and highlight it, when the current playing song ends the song that I had highlighted changes to some random song. do you have any thought? My Hoster is acting very badly.

Re: Paul Initializing book Id slow

I think you are referring to taking out the Book Id in the search dialog.
I’m talking about the Book id button on the main page.
I attach a screen shot to better show the button.

Your other problem, I didn’t think you could ever select the next song in the playlist prior to the playing song ending, unless you press the play button before the song ended.
You should be able to select the next song after the previous song ends.

The playlist reacts different depending on your Playlist settings. In the playlist settings there are 4 tick boxes at the bottom, if you have the third box ticked “Run your show as a Rotation” then the next singer is decided for you and shows highlighted as Next in the playlist. It runs in order of the list in the Rotation Column.
When using that method you would drag and drop singers in the Rotation list to change their order of play not the playlist.

Re: Paul Initializing book Id slow

Hey Roy, Thanks, with the help of your screen shot I did what you said and it worked Thank you.

With my second issue: before I could be playing one song and highlight the next song that I wanted to play and when The song I was playing would end the the one that I had highlighted would stay there but now (the highlighted area) jumps to the the song right after the one I had just played?

Re: Paul Initializing book Id slow

Try this: Open the playlist settings and make sure you have the box ticked for keep selected songs selected in manuel mode.

I don’t think it will work if you have Run your show as a rotation so make sure that’s not ticked.

I attach another screen shot.

Re: Paul Initializing book Id slow

What I would do now if your happy the way it’s working now is from the Help menu select Backup/Restore and create a backup on an external device so that you can always restore to those settings.
