Are you saying that every piece of equipment should be somehow connected to the same outlet? I use JBL EON15 powered speakers and I generally have those plugged into separate outlets than the outlet I use for my computer, mixing board, cordless mics, etc. It would be difficult for me to plug the speakers into the same outlet as the rest of the equipment.
