No song lyrics

I have tried and tried to get lyrics when playing from a singers disc but no matter what I do it just won't work. I can import the same songs as kma's and they play fine. I can't figure out what is going on. When I look at the file iit has a file type as a cda instead of kma, but as I said it won't play using the singers disc, only if I import it Anyone had this same problem? My wife's cd plays some of the tracks but not all Thanks Alan
