JVC800 Players have problems when transparency (superimpose) is enabled

Have you tried it in more than one JVC player?

If you have, and it still doesn't read, the problem may be with your writer (head drift)

If you haven't, then give it a whirl in another JVC player. If it plays fine, then the first JVC may need alignment (by JVC, not an "authorized" local-yocal. Local repair shops are great with CD players, and they tend to take the approach that a Karaoke player is just another cd player. It's not.
