Re: transfer files to new computer. KMH Files
I didn't read your first post properly.
If all your kmh files are in one folder with subfolders within the main folder you can use the Add Folders/Sub folders button. Brows to the parent folder it will then go through importing all the kmh files in the other folders as well but make sure none of the Songs of type are selected so that only the original kmh types are imported. Example parent folder named "Karaoke files" which contains separate folders for Sunfly, Zoom, Chartbusters. selecting the parent "Karaoke Files" will import all those within it. If yours are not in a parent folder you could just brows to the main drive and use the Add Folders/Sub folders button which will scan the whole drive for kmh files but make sure you don't have any off the song type buttons selected or it may start duplicating imports. With none of the buttons selected it will only import kma and kmh files. Alternately if you still have a copy of the C|MTU\Hoster folder from your old computer, you could copy the "HosterInfoIndexed.ini" file from that computer and paste it into the C\MTU\Hoster folder on your new computer and provided the drive letters are the same just rebuild the database after starting Hoster. That file is the list of all the folders you see in the rebuild list. Or even better if you still have it, Just copy your Hoster folder from C\MTU folder and paste that into the C\MTU folder on your new computer. That will then be a replicate of how it was. If you do this last item before pasting the copy in rename your existing Hoster folder "Hoster backup" so it does not get overwritten then if something goes wrong you can always name it back.

Re: transfer files to new computer. KMH Files
OK Roy to make sure I understand you. At present my Karaoke files are in the E drive with a master folder called Karaoke Music. With Karaoke music are individual folders for each disc that is in kmh format(i.e. SF325 for Sunfly SF325). Also in the Karaoke Music file are the KMA's and some VCD discs and a fiew video karaoke files. The original "c" hard drive still function. I have coped the Hoster file from the MTU folder into the new MTU folder on the new computer C drive and renamed the Hoster file that was on the new computer C drive as hoster old. I do not see a hoster.ini. within the Hoster file is the Manual,Hoster, hosterv.ocs, mtu.ocs mtufx.ocs and mtus. so i am a bit at a loss

Re: transfer files to new computer. KMH Files
No that folder you are talking about is the wrong one.
That Hoster file with those files in is normally in in the C\Programs files (86)\Micro Technology Unlimited folder. The Hoster folder I'm referring to in previous post is in C\MTU folder in that folder you should see a Hoster folder that contains the other files. So if you've renamed the wrong folder then You best name it back as it was. I'm going to be out later tonight so won't be able to reply much later, till tomorrow.
