Lilke I said, I run long wires from my laptop to my amp & TV when I'm at home so I don't have to walk across the room. Wires are inexpensive and if you have Hoster's full version, you can put a second copy on your laptop. When you find out how to set up Remote viewing, I would be curious to know if you will be able to see & control Hoster. I hope you'll post back.

Just thought of something......if you're going to do it remotely, then why would you need another video/hdmi cable, if everything is already hooked up to your desktop?
