Help with Chinese karaoke files

I hope someone can help with this-
I'm currently in China on business and one of our clients has some songs he was wanting to use with Hoster. The files are pairs of .wma and .lrc files. When I try to load one into Hoster using the "K-oke" button, Hoster sees the wma files but then gives an error "the lyric .cdg file is missing for the file: filename.wma.

To play as a karaoke song, both files must be in the same directory."

Both files are in the same directory.
Any ideas? This is the first time I've used .wma and .lrc files and it's not working.

Hoster 5.04, Windows 7 Pro with all changes applied, Hoster works flawlessly otherwise.

Thanks

That kind of set up will not work in Hoster. An LRC file is a lyrics text file, where a CDG file is a graphics rendered file. They are not the same type of file. Sorry Deeter it won't work in Hoster.

Thanks- I was afraid of that.
I'll do some research and see if they can be combined and converted to MP3+G..........

Re: Help with Chinese karaoke files

You can load lrc files into MTU's Khpro 5.01 program along with the mp3 music track but you will have to tap out the timing first then save it as mp3+g type.

Yuck. That has a low likelihood of happening.
Thanks for all the help, guys.

I'm interested in why you are not willing to tap the Spacebar where each word should start highlighting?

If you have the music WITH vocals, this usually only takes the time to play the song, tapping when you hear each vocal.

500 songs or so at 4 minutes or so each, and I don't speak, read or sing Chinese!
I bought a 72 disc pack on sale for 49$ and I've been ripping them to mp4 format this week and I'll use them instead.
