I just ripped an audio CD to wma through Windows media player as I did not have any wma files to try it.
I imported 3 of the files as .kma types and 3 as kmh types from the Import hard drive dialog and they all play perfect and display the correct times, I did not have visualization enabled.
I then imported the rest of the wma files (11) using the easy option from the build database dialog and they all play perfect on my laptop.
