Re: Problems playing video files on extended desktop

I have been playing .VOB, MP4, AVI, MKV, WMV, MOV etc and Karaoke songs (MP3+G). I would normally do about 5-10 Karaoke and then play a video depending on how many ppl where up to sing. All of this done within the Hoster program. As far as my Graphics card I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M.

The problem came about when I had to reinstall windows on my computer and everything else. After that problems began. Hope that helps

you might wanna try going on line and download a driver scan, it might help you find what's going on with your graphic card..

Chad,

I believe the Video Issues are with a software conflict rather than the video card itself (unless there is some remote possiability that the Bios on the video card was flashed by the virus).

Speaking of Bios, have you updated you computers Bios since the Virus?

Were any Bios settings changed since OS reinstall?

Re: Problems playing video files on extended desktop

Try installing this codec : Combined Community Codec Pack.... Credit goes to the author. I have no problem playing all my video files and you can tweak filters.
