bassn99,

I have the plex 16-10-40 and have found that reading at 40X and writing at 16X gives me the best backups. The fast read speed seems to skip over some of the scratches and graphic spots and give me a better backup than some of my well worn discs.
BUT I have found out the hard way that using cheap media gives you back ups that won't last long playing five nites a week......
