1: The start and end boxes show 0.00 until you highlight the particular track so I take it you have selected a few to display their settings ?
A. Yes
2: Have you actually made a copy of all your kma & kmh from your desk top to your laptop or have you plugged the same external usb drive that you use with your Desktop into your Laptop ?
A. Copied
3: How did you import them into Hoster on your laptop ?
A. Copied to Hoster MTU kma folder then rebuilt database
4: Did you just copy the songs.mbd from desktop to lap top ?
A. No
5: Does it still show the correct start and end points on the desk top.
I did when I first made this transfer, however I have had to redo my desk top since then and I now have the same prob on it.

I have been experimenting with this and have found that if I go to the songs database in access it shows yes for start/end time valid and wierd symbles under start and end offset(not numbers). If I change the yes to no I can then redo the remove silence in hoster and it will work corectly (very time consumming for 30,000 songs) but it will work.
