I have been using this computer with hoster for several years.
Bumping to 2gb ram wouldn't hurt either.

Re: Report Hoster 5.01 Problems

Last night I did a show for the first time using 501. Here is a problem I had. When I bring up the search window, list a song and then hit the folder button to bring the song up, the search window appears on the singers display. This only happens when I hit the folder to activate the search. Has anyone else encounter this? It is a problem because if a singer is performing when this happens the search window blocks out some of the words and is a distraction.

The folder button is not for you to search for a song. The folder button is if you put a singers name in that field then click that it will open that singer's list from the Singer's Database. This should open right next to the search window.
To activate the search for a song type in your search info and hit enter.

Thanks Dale. That explains it.

One additional point, the size/location of the "Singers Songs dialog" (appears when you click the "folder" icon) is persistent; i.e. it appears in the same size/location when you last used it. You can move it and resize it, and you should do this BEFORE your show, not during it.

Hope that helps you further.

I updated the Manual to make this clearer.

One other thing, if it is appearing on the "Singers Display" on the extended monitor, Drag it back to the main monitor or alternately press the "Reset Displays" button in the Tools/Options.
