Re: hic-cupped and out of sync
Billy, go to Windows Explorer and right click on each drive. Go to properties and uncheck indexing. Do this for your external too. That should stop all indexing.

i'm getting audio dropouts again, i thought i had it fixed by clicking on snooze on indexing, i tried unchecking the indexing on all the drives, still the same ..i now re-checked the indexing box, and once it's done indexing i'll play some songs and i'll see what gives..

Re: hic-cupped and out of sync
I leave mine off as it will continually try to index, specially for external drives. Snooze will only work for a short time.

Re: hic-cupped and out of sync
just got it fixed, i don't know which of these things did the trick., i de-frag hhd/ registry, i disabled indexing both on c: & f: drives, uninstalled - re-installed audio drivers then update drivers, mostly did everything i did before...but now it's working no more audio dropouts...
