I beleive we installed EZ CD Creator, so she could use that to backup her other data files. Didn't think about it because it never seemed to bother my XP install. I never did care for that DirectCD part, especially if you put in a CD-RW and it locked the eject door.

I'll try that with her system tomorrow and let you know if it works. It sure would be nice to solve it that easy.
