Loading Karaoke Songs On A Flash Drive

Can anyone tell me how to get CDG songs on a USB Flash Drive?

I have a Singer that brings his on a USB drive and I love the way it loads into Hoster using the K-oke button. It's quick and simple. It's head and shoulders over loading from a disc, and as with a disc, once it plays, it's gone!

However, someone else did it for him and he has no idea how to do it.

Probably done in MP3+G format, which can be transferred to any type of drive.

Dale,

They "were" in MP3 format.

But the question is, how do you get them from a CDG Disc or KMA file and convert them into a MP3+G format to put them on the Flash Drive?

Well sticking with MTU programs you can import with Microstudio to BIN format and then convert to MP3+G with Songverter if you are taking them from a CD. Or if they are KMA files then just convert with Songverter.

Or just have him leave them as a kma file & Hoster will read it as well.

Yep, sure will.

And to get them onto a Flash drive, plug it into a USB slot on their computer, then use Windows Explorer, find the KMA (or MP3+G) files on the hard drive, and either click-n-drag-n-drop them to the flash drive, or copy them to the clipboard (select the files and press Ctrl+C keys), then paste them into the flash drive (use Ctrl+V to paste into the selected flash drive).
