It is not that you personally would put Hoster on unlimited PCs but that it would get out from someone unknown that it would be spread to thousands. This has happened in the past and not just to MTU. If a company doesn't make money then they don't stay in business.

I am just a little confused about your problem statement. Are you referring to the BookID or the DiskID. If they are KMA files you would not be importing them again anyway. all you would have to do is add the folder to the Rebuild Database tool and rebuild. The BookIDs and DiskIDs would stay exactly the same.
