Since i have been using Hoster,it has cost me including updates 379 Dollars!Now to upgrade from 4.22 to 4.31 which doesn´t make my songs play any better!,you want 69 Dollars.Well MTU it is time to say goodbye.I have just installed ***** on my friends computer for his Karaoke and i was amazed at the features,features i´ve been waiting for for years from Hoster.I have spent as more time trying to iron out problems with Hoster since version 4.0,than i have been able to enjoy playing my songs.
I believe you have lost the plot,at the end of the day it´s all about the singing.If that doesn´t work which it doesn´t most of the time now with sync problems etc then all of your other features are absolutely useless to a KJ.
I have tested the competition thoroughly,there are not a multitude of changes necessary to my computer,nor have i had problems with sync or crashing and the additional features including crossfade and the ability to connect a webcam are excellent.So i´m afraid it is time to step aside Hoster.Keep your Upgrades(which apparently mostly involve fixes anyway!),i have been sucked dry of enough dollars for this software.

John I am sorry to see you go. You are wrong though in your statement. You are not paying to upgrade from 4.22 to 4.31. You are paying to upgrade from the last time you paid for an upgrade which would have to be 4.10 which was released a year ago. And I suspect it was longer than that. If you paid for an upgrade for version 4.22 (released Aug 3, 2010) then you do not have to pay for 4.31 because that is only 2 months ago.
I hope you are happy with this other program.

Upgrade!19 Fixes including major crashing and continual Lyrics out of sync problems!All of the Christmas Decorations on the Tree mean nothing if the lights don´t work.....now your pulling my other leg!

The lyric sync is probably the best it's been now since 3.34 - no adjustments need to be made. As far as crashing i've never had so much as a hiccup.

I too, almost switched from Hoster to another program but, once 4.22 came out, it fixed MOST of my issues. Lyric synch is perfect now, do not use offset at all and still waiting on TEMPO but, to switch to another program would be too time consuming. I LOVE Hoster and can't wait for the NEW features.

Only issue I have found is that I can Crash hoster if song is CUEing and press STOP. It will crash everytime in 4.22. Just downloaded 4.31, will check in show tonight.

Keep up the good work MTU, I still believe Hoster is the easiest program to use and you keep adding NEW features/enhancements.

Ok, this is getting out of hand and there have already been answers from Admin in the other two threads about this. I am closing this one.
John I don't know why you continue to have sync problems because most of the users have been able to go back to no offset and no sync problems. Not all of the Upgrades since 4.10 or even 4.0 have been just fixes. There have been multiple new features added since the inception of 4.0 along with fixing some bugs that have shown up after release.
If you want to discuss your sync problem and see if someone can come up with a solution, then start another thread for that. This thread is closed.
