i have the same error going on 4 days now. read thread "4.22 failed download"

Just as a curiosity have both done the Custom updates from Microsoft lately. And Billy I am not referring to just Windows Media Player and DirectX. Microsoft has put recent changes out for all 3 versions of Net Framework. This is required for installation and this issue came up before for a while too and was solved by updating/installing it.
This is a common problem that comes up for a lot of programs that use Microsofts Install builder.

before i upgraded i did all the custom updates, necessary changes, and i also have all the updates from microsoft netframe3.5 except for sp3, my show laptops has the same updates minus sp3.., these updates you're referring to, is this just for v4.22 or for all the previous upgrades?. if not my question was why was i able to install v4.20/21 if v4.22 is almost identical with v4.21with a few added features. my understanding was since i don't have a problem with xp that v4.22 is a fixed for vista and w7 hoster users that has sync and other related problems, like i said before i had never had a problem with any of the prior versions, never had a problem with installing all the prior version except for v4.22

Just wanted to know if this issue will be fixed or should I keep running old version and put up with a few crashes............

It is being tested now. If you did not submit a Support Ticket on this then do so now and you will get to help test it. Admin explained it in this thread: http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?t=12188
