Does your T.V. have an S-video jack, or a Video In jack ( Yellow color ), or are they only capable of hooking up through the antenna ?

Has your external monitor got any inputs other than coaxial ?
if it has a scart socket you can plug a scart adapter with composit video in. I should think if you are using a coaxial you must have to tune the TV to the frequency of your adapter. Have a look at the video on this site. http://www.svideo.com/pctvez.html |

![]() I'm thinking you may have a bad connection ( cable, adaptor, plug ), if you have tried 4 different vga converters, and 4 different rf converters/adaptors, then I would suspect a bad cable ( coax, rca, vga, etc ), but you may also have a port that is suddenly not working...and gone bad! Start with changing out your coax cable for a different one, then a vga cable, then any other wiring connection ( I once had a wire break in the plug end of a coax cable, and trouble shot everything else, knowing that the cable was fine the night before ![]()

I am sorry in advance if this is a dumb response but try checking the channel on the tv and make sure it is on the correct one. I think it should be either 3 or 4.
