What version of Hoster? XP or Vista? New install or upgrade?
All this matters!

This is your perogative, but since most of the problems turn out to be computer/operating system setup that causes it, then you may be waiting a long time to upgrade.

Doesn't matter what Windows I'm using I am having the same result.

I have two computers upgraded to Hoster 4 one XP sp 3, as adviced by MTU, and one Vista Ultimate 32.

Yes, it does matter! XP & Vista have different requirements prior to installing Hoster. You also didn't mention which Hoster 4 version - there are 5 updates. It also matters if you upgraded from 3.x (which one) directly to 4.05 or if it was a new install. It also matters whether you did the computer updates before or after you installed Hoster, and if you followed ALL of MTU's recommendations

Most people seem to be doing well with 4.05 on both Vista & XP. Others, including myself, find that 4.03 is working without any problems on Vista, while my 6-year old HP-XP, with lots of other programs installed and only 512 RAM, will run 4.05.

You must take everything into consideration before making a general statement that Hoster just doesn't work

What I meant with "it doesn't matter" is that I have both of the OS with the same result Vista is running Hoster 4.05 and XP is running 4.03. This is not a general statement since it does not matter which one I use I have the same results. What it really matters is that Hoster 4 is affecting the quality of my shows.

Ricky try upgrading the XP machine to 4.05 and I think your problems will dissappear on that machine. You don't have anything to lose in doing it and may gain back a good machine for shows.

Ricardo, (RickyRey)

Try the XP machine with 4.05 upgrade and run show only in the Manual Mode! I get lyric-sinc problems only when I try to go to the Auto Mode!
You can switch to 3.4 if that doesn't allow you to run the show without glitches!

first gig with 4.05.2 crashes and all out of sync.

Last week when I downloaded 4.05 and ran it for 4 or 5 hours, everything seems fine. The next day try again with optimous results. third day did it again work just as good as 4.03 . Then gig day on Monday as I plug my video cord out to the tv network, bum out of sync and now still out of syc. I know you guys are trying hard, and may be we are all egger to run a show from start to finish with all the great features that it has. I think i"ll go back to 4.03 and Ill be waiting for 4.06 to try again.

When you ran the earlier tests was it with just the computer or with both the TV and computer?
You can try setting your color level down from 32 bit to 16 bit colors and that will help a lot. Also check to make sure your resolution is the same on both monitors and should be either 1024x768 or 800x600.
