I'm not seeing any of the out of sync lyrics this time around on 4.05 even with the SC version of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. Dead on lyrics swipes in both the preview & singers screen, no preview screen cutoff - now granted I only have 1 display to test with - no dual display, but on my end it's working fine.

Do Not Upgrade To .Net Framework 3.5

I uninstalled .Net Framework 3.5

Since the uninstall did not require me to restart windows (I know I have to restart in order to reload .Net Framework 3.0 correctly ), I went ahead and opened Hoster 4.05 just to see what would happen. Sure enough right as the logo video was finishing the program crashed. Hoster 4.05 does not like .Net Framework 3.5.

I restarted my computer and Hoster 4.05 ran like the program it is, solid as a rock.

Conclusion: Do not upgrade to .Net Framework 3.5.

Thanks again for your help finding this James.

Follow Up

James,
.Net Framework 3.5 did not want to go quietly. After using Add/Remove Programs to remove .Net Framework 3.5 I still had porblems with Hoster 4.05 crashing time and time again. I have never seen Hoster 4.X act so strange. I had to do a system retore back a few points to get things in working order.

Just trying to save you some grief.

Jim

If anybody has to do a system restore, be sure to save a copy of your singers.mdb database file on a jump drive. If you've added files to your songs databses, copy the songs.mdb, songs_backup.mdb and the bucket.mdb. These file gets changed in the restore, I found out the hard way.
