I don't want you to get the wrong impression, you can use a non-powered splitter but the picture quality will get worse the farther away you get from the source. For a big screen TV that's accross the stage or a TV that's mounted on the wall if you want the picture to look good on all of your TV's I'd make the $50 investment.

I like Laddies wireless way of handling this. When my distrbution amp goes out I may look into it BUT if it ain't broke......
